Lean Into the Measureless Love of God

When the road comes to a curve you don't want to navigate.... travel on my friend, leaning into that curve by leaning into the measureless and strong love of God... 

 

I recently watched the movie Indescribable. A movie based on the true story behind the classic Christian hymn, The Love Of God.

This isn't a song I remember singing a lot in the church as a child but I love the hymn. Especially the 3rd vs...
"Could we with ink the ocean fill
And were the skies of parchment made,

Were every stalk on earth a quill

And every man a scribe by trade
To write the love of God above
Would drain the ocean dry,
Nor could the scroll contain the whole
Tho stretched from sky to sky"
"O love of God how rich and pure! How measureless and strong!"
Some things in life are truly too difficult to process. I received news the other day that is difficult to process.
In moments like these sometimes there is actions to be taken and other times there is not. I am a person of action. So, what to do when there is no action to take but to endure... trust in the measureless, the strong love of God.
"The love of God is greater far than tongue or pen can ever tell"
"His erring child He reconciled And pardoned from his sin"
How anyone truly walks out life in this world without knowing the love of God is unfathomable to me. We all err... We all are also likely to be hurt by someone else's err...
The only way I know to process either is to lean into the measureless, strong love of God.
